Due to the number of parrots at our facility and our growing needs, we accept almost any donation.
Used cars still drivable we may resell while giving you a tax deduction receipt for the value of the
automobile. It must be drivable, however, so we can bring it to the foundation. Once at the foundation,
it is detailed and put up for sale. Automobiles may also be given to contractors in exchange for their
repairs at the foundation for the upkeep of the building itself.
Other donations include parrot toys, parrot cages, food, boats, and cash donations. Every little bit helps and is used very quickly here at WPF. Your volunteer time is also greatly appreciated as we have much to do here at the foundation. Your donations have already allowed us to change our garage into a seperate quarantine facility with all the proper amenities. Currently, our foundation needs approximately 18 parrots for shows, events, and parties to raise funds. We usually are in excess of 18 parrots, which we try to place in homes. Our goal is to only have 9 permanent parrots here at the foundation for social events. Although the parrots work for a living, they thoroughly enjoy the traveling for events and socialization with the public. And remember, 100% of your donation is tax deductable!
