Our Mission ...
The Wilson Parrot Foundation is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing neglected and abused Parrots. Our mission is to teach the public about having parrots as pets and how to provide for them with caring and compassion.

The WPF will continue traveling to shows and events all over the east coast to raise funds and educate people about care and committment to tropical birds.
  We Need Your Help ...
Winter is approaching and our birds can no longer perform in the usual outdoor venues. This causes the Foundation to lose one of the major sources of revenue which is used for the care and maintenance of our flock.

To help us carry on during this period of shortfall, it is important that we schedule as many indoor events as possible (e.g. birthdays, barmitzvahs, anniversaries, etc.) between now and December 3rd ... more

  Featured Parrot - Sweetiepie ...
Sweetiepie Sweetiepie is a Blue-and-gold Macaw who works for the foundation. She will lie on her back in a baby stroller and will spread her wings like an Eagle during a photo while perching on top of a person's head. Last summer, Sweetiepie attended the retirement ceremony for retired Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Edmund Giambastiani. Click here to see Sweetiepie with Admiral Giambastiani and Deputy Secretary Gordon England.
Donations ...
Due to the number of parrots at our facility and our growing needs, we accept many types of donations. For example, a used car (still drivable) can be detailed and resold by the foundation while giving you a tax deduction receipt for it's value. Other donations include parrot toys, parrot cages, food and cash donations.

And remember, 100% of your donation is tax deductable! You may make a credit card donation thru Pay Pal by clicking here or by mailing a check directly to the foundation address at the top right of the page.
  Brian Wilson ...
Brian with Louie and Sweetiepie Brian Wilson was rehabilitated by parrots to walk and talk after his car accident in 1995. Now Brian gives back once again rehabilitating unwanted parrots and placing them in their new forever homes. In 2007, Brian had the pleasure of appearing on 9 News JC & Friends, a long running series which honors "those who touch the lives of others". Many of the flock went along and Brian stacked them on many of the 9 News staff including the lovely JC Hayward, herself. Please click here to enjoy this touching story.
